Olympus VN-180 and VN-90 Digital Voice Notecorders
Hanover, 24 February 2000 - Olympus presents two new digital notetakers that combine refined ergonomic styling with exceptional performance. These models allow users to record personal notes anywhere and anytime - dispensing with the need for pen and paper. Their respective integrated 16 MB or 8 MB flash memory chips, enable maximum recording times of an amazing 180 minutes for the VN-180 and 90 minutes with the VN-90. And since digital technology is employed, notes and messages won't lose any quality, no matter how often they are replayed.
These uniquely coloured digital voice notecorders deliver supreme flexibility and capacity, storing up to 100 voice files in each of the three available folders. File management is also a breeze thanks to the handy built-in LC-Display. Via an easy-to-use menu, all relevant details can be shown, including the exact date and time of a recording, the current folder and total number of dictations. The incorporated clock also provides a practical alarm feature that can be used as a schedule reminder with messages in the user's own voice.
The digital functionality of both the Olympus VN-180 and VN-90 ensures even more advantages. For example, voice files can be accessed directly and, when the need arises, messages can be erased together or individually.
The lightweight and energy efficient units - delivered complete with batteries and hand-strap, weigh a lean 66 g and measure only 115 mm x 44 mm x 15 mm. They will therefore fit comfortably into just about any pocket or handbag.
Suited for all busy people, the reliable Olympus VN-180 and VN-90 represent an ideal digital note-taking device for the office, at home, or on the move. The models will be revealed at CeBIT 2000 in Hanover and are planned to be available for sale during the second quarter 2000. |
